Bowl-A-Fact

I think that I worked well as I got all the numbers. Next time I would like to time myself to see if I can get all the numbers quicker.

Elgregoe Reflection

Today our school was very privileged to get a visit from Elgregoe. Elgregoe is a magician and a ventriloquist that teaches schools about bullying. He preformed a lot of great tricks and taught us a lot about bullying; he even involved some people from school in his tricks. My favorite bit was the floating man trick were his assistant (Sue) made Elgregoe float and all the animals he involved in his performances. I think that Elgregoe is a great performer that taught us a lot about bullying. Some common slogans he says are:
Hands are for helping, not for hurting, Don't repeat everything you hear , repeat the things that are friendly and helpful and If you upset someone, you need to say sorry and take the blame.

Sound (Musical Muse) With Catrin

Today Catrin and I made a musical video for our sound learning. We experimented with the different tones of the cups and made our own performance using pencils and cups filled with water.

Comment who you think won the battle.

Rip Tide By Vance Joy. BW, NB, ThB. Ukulele

Today our task was to learn something new on the ukulele. Theo, Niko and I decided we would learn some of the song Rip tide by Vance Joy. I think there were positive and negatives to working in a group. A negative was that we disagreed about the song choice; a positive was that when we chose the song it was easier to learn because we could help each other.

Flora and Fauna Reflection. With Mr Barnett and Henk

R.I.P it Reflection

Today Ruma J got a visitor (Henk) from DOC. He took us on one of the local bush tracks and showed us some of the native flora on the track. I think that the best bit about it was how we got to see the plants in real life instead of just talking about it. This was very useful as in class as we are writing about Flora and Fauna for the Talking Shed project. The walk showed me how many different, native plants there are nearby. I think that the walk will help a lot with our Flora and Fauna Project.

Standard Written Form

Today we were learning how to solve multiplication and division questions using standard written form. I think I could have been clearer in my video's and I could have explained it better. I like the font choice. Next time I could make my slideshow more exiting. I think that division is harder using this strategy.

What is sound?
